I think many people have a hard time coming up with more healthy, easy, portable meals. This Sabra hummus is delicious and can also be put on wraps and loaded with veggies; sprouts, tomatoes, olives, spinach, etc, etc.
You can also dip a variety of amazing veggies in it. Some of my favorites include; carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, red pepper slices.
Or…. you can stuff these fun little peppers and take them to parties. A tip on beans… I eat a ton of beans!! Even if you are not vegan eating more beans is great for you. There is a multitude of benefit to beans (which we will discuss in future posts). If you are vegan please be sure to eat a minimum of 3 servings per day of beans so you will get your essential amino acid lysine. And finally…. don’t forget……
